Teal Cream Pure Silk Upcycled Sari Silk Scarf

This amazing upcycled vintage sari silk scarf has been sewn from a vintage pure silk sari to make a lovely, simple to wear accessory: just wrap it twice or three times around your neck, or fold in half & slip one end through the other, it will also make an ideal nursing cover - a versatile accessory of generous proportions. The natural, breathable silk means it will keep you warm in the winter but won't be too hot for the summer. Available in either loop or straight styles.

All scarves are individually sewn by me in Westcliff, England.

This scarf has a cream background with an baroque pattern in teal green. A stunning design, ideal to wear with so many colours.

The size is approx 228 cm circumference x 47 cm, approx 90" x 18½"

This is hand printed vintage fabric and therefore may have slight imperfections such as small marks, holes or pulls in the fabric although I do my best to ensure that each piece is as close to perfect as possible.

I endeavour to convey the colours in the fabric as accurately as possible, however there may be slight discrepancies between different monitors and screens. Please note the pattern placement may vary slightly but it is made from the same sari.

Washing and care: All the sari's are pre-washed and ironed by me prior to sewing. Hand-wash gently with a mild detergent and line dry, before a careful warm iron. Use caution with rough fingernails and jewellery, the fabric is very delicate.
