This stunning fabric is made from recycled vintage silk sari's and is pure silk with gold metallic thread. This luxurious silk fabric is available in 1 Metre lengths by 42 inches wide from either the most patterned end panel or the main section of less patterned fabric. Where possible, if you order more than one piece, I will only do one cut, so that you receive one whole piece of fabric. This is an amazing vintage printed fabric.

It is great for gift wrapping, curtain tie backs, collage, mixed media, textile art, creative art, scrap booking, card making, junk journal, sewing, felting, appliqué, knitting and spinning, to name a few.

This Sari Silk fabric is made for recycling vintage Silk Sari's, each piece is carefully inspected to make sure that only the best material is chosen, but because the fabric is vintage/old, there may be signs or signs of wear and tear. Pictures are taken as close ups, using natural light. When taking pictures, we aim to get as close to the true colours as possible, but sometimes this is difficult. Also colours may vary between computer monitors.

The Sari silk fabric available in our Etsy store comes from recycling vintage, pre-loved silk Sari's. Each sari is washed, ironed and inspected carefully to ensure sure that only the best material is chosen. However, because the fabric is vintage, and pre-loved, it is not unusual to see some minor signs of wear and tear, such as small marks, stains or holes which should be considered a feature rather than a fault.
