Orange Abstract Bohemian Upcycled Sari Silk Scarf - Eco Friendly Autumn Fall Winter Womens Scarf - Christmas Letterbox Lockdown Gift

This stunning upcycled sari silk scarf has been sewn from a vintage pure silk sari to make a lovely, simple to wear accessory: just wrap it twice or three times around your neck, or fold in half & slip one end through the other - a versatile accessory of generous proportions. The natural, breathable silk means it will keep you warm in the winter but won't be too hot for the summer. The scarf is made from a double layer of fabric which is sewn into a loop with all seams inside.

All scarves are individually sewn by me in Westcliff, England.

This is a unique piece and makes a perfect present or gift for yourself. This scarf is made from a beautiful soft sari with an all over abstract pattern in yellow, green and lilac on a pale orange background. This scarf is made fom a soft draping silk.

The size is approx 226 cm circumference x 26 cm, approx 89" x 10"

This is vintage fabric and therefore may have slight imperfections such as small marks, holes or pulls in the fabric although I do my best to ensure that each piece is as close to perfect as possible.

I endeavour to convey the colours in the fabric as accurately as possible, however there may be slight discrepancies between different monitors and screens. Please note the pattern placement may vary slightly but it is made from the same sari.

Washing and care: All the sari's are pre-washed and ironed by me prior to sewing. Hand-wash gently with a mild detergent and line dry, before a careful warm iron. Use caution with rough fingernails and jewellery, the fabric is very delicate.
