After we at craftmadclaire have re-purposed the sari's as much as possible the remaining pieces are sorted into slivers, scraps, felting packs, borders, ribbons and pieces. Beautiful Recycled Vintage Sari Silk Ribbon This ribbon is created from a recycled vintage silk saree. This luxurious ribbon / border panel has overlocked stitching on both edges; this is a truly stunning woven border panel; it is available in 1 metre (100cm) lengths by 5.5cm wide. If you order more than one metre, wherever possible, I will only do one cut, so that you receive one whole piece of this truly stunning ribbon. The Sari silk fabric and ribbons in our Esty shop are from recycling vintage, pre-loved silk Sari's. Each sari is inspected to ensure that the fabrics used are as close to perfect as possible. However, because the fabric is vintage, and pre-loved, it is not unusual to see some minor signs of wear and tear, such as small marks, stains or holes, these should be considered a feature rather than a fault. Our pictures are taken in natural light in order to give as accurate a representation as possible, however, colours can vary greatly from one monitor or screen to another.
